“No no, I didn’t have to take any efforts into your birth, I brought you from the orphanage, someone dumped you there.” This is the kind of conversation one hopes that he never has with his parents or even a sensible parent will avoid in his life. So if you been adopted as a kid, you can be sure that the chances that you will never be told are highly likely.

Something that goes on the lines of “Your father and I weren’t really looking forward to have you, but we had no other option” parents usually refrain from telling this kids. Therefore, if it was an unplanned pregnancy and your parents had to settle, odds are they won’t be telling you about it.

Sometimes, to avoid the risk of having to tell you this shocker, they just don’t tell you, only for you to find out after their death. This may or may not be due to personal reasons but for a lot of parents, their will might include donations to charities or the people who have been faithful to them over the years and not the children. But irrespective of whether everything’s fine between you’ll or not, they might not reveal this little piece of big information to you.

Though children will know the basic financial condition of his/her family, the actual finances shall be hidden from the kids most of the times and parents refrain from telling them that they actually have a lot of cash stacked in places due to a lot of reasons, a lot of fears. Parents might actually never tell you that wither one of them or both have health problems that they are extremely worried about, just because they dont don’t want you to get anxious and worry. They will also take care of your health and your well being but when it comes to them, you are always a kid for them so they’ll want to do it themselves.

There’s a high chance that parents will not tell you take the car as they might be afraid you’d bang it somewhere and get hurt in the process. Especially with teens, they tend to be rash and spontaneous, so with this rebellious nature of theirs, parents think it best to not encourage their children to drive, not until they are sure, anyway..which might be never!

Most parents have accounts in social networking sites or have downloaded apps that make them feel like they are a little more closer to their children. This way, to all those children who don’t tell them things, things that they want to know about. Parents find out for themselves by spying or stalking them.

Most parents, especially Indian parents will refrain from talking to their children about sex as they are orthodox and sometimes backward in nature. They think they might be encouraging the children and therefore, kind of avoid the talk as it might get embarrassing for both parties. This is why most children find out about sex from everyone else but their parents.

No matter which parent, where, he/she will always be concerned about the marks of your friends/relatives/anyone your age/anyone who has scored more than you. So even if your parent night actually believe that marks don’t really matter, they will never really tell it to you. Never.
