The Great Indian Culture

Culture is that complex Whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, Morals, Law, Customs and other Capabilities and Habits acquired by man as a member of society. 

It is said to be the great Indian culture because the ultimate goal of Indian culture is “Self Actualization.” And to achieve self actualization Religion is the medium. Religion was made with a thought to satisfy the hunger of knowledge and to satisfy questions like. “What is life?”

Personification of human ethical qualities made different gods with different qualities. Like Ganesha is known as the god of wisdom, and Laxmi is known as the goddess of wealth. The Indian culture believes that every person is blessed with extraordinary qualities and life is about discovering these qualities and nurturing them.
What do we have to do to achieve self realization.
– Development of Body, soul and physical human power.
– Establish a coordination between body,soul and power.
– Adopting the coordination and unite then with the whole community.
– Gathering knowledge,wisdom, behavior and temper in our self.
These were few methods to achieve the superior state of mind.And these actions were linked with religion so that the number of people to achieve it will increase. But over time the higher authorities who understood the power of religion, contaminated it for there personal gain. So as polluting the main characteristics of  Indian culture.

So basically what are the ‘Characteristics of Indian culture‘ And what are the aspects of it.

Over the time Indians have made sculptures based on the requirement of time. Today’s sculptures are made keeping the dense population in mind.

Is the Culture Changing ?
Yes , because change is constant. The old beliefs are changing and the greatest example is the the joint family concept. But the values are time less. They will always be the same.

What is ultimately the great Indian culture?
India is a land of peace,love and unity. It is known for its “unity in diversity”. The only reason Britishers could rule us was they were successful in convincing us that what they had was better then us. And some how the history is repeating itself due to globalization.
Adopting from different cultures is not a and never will be problem. But the default values should be considered while adopting.
