Romance Comes To An End: RIP DDLJ
After 1000 successful weeks of screening DDLJ calls for last curtain call of Maratha Mandir today. DDLJ has filled so much romance in our hearts that it is impossible for us, to forget this super-hit block buster.
As the iconic era of romance comes to an end, we are giving a tribute to DDLJ through our spoof.
“Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”, the biggest problem of this movie lies in its name.
I mean whats the point in revealing the climax in the name itself. It could have created mystery and drawn more audiences if the name had some suspense in it. Something like “Kya Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaa Payenge”??

Another loop in the movie was Kajol’s uni-brows.
I mean why the hell a movie banner like YRF will try saving money by not giving the leading lady an eyebrow plucking session? Or, were they trying to praise the natural beauty of woman?

This movie teaches us that if you want to get something from your parents that you think they are not going to approve then all you need to do is fake something that they think is good.
This may be studies or Puja or both. While doing it, make sure they see you; otherwise what’s the need of doing that.

DDLJ also prove that Indians are never happy with anything.
As Amrish Puri was always like “this place (london) su**s” to a country that gave him everything that he wanted (money) and provided him with an opportunity to be an International DukaanWala.

DDLJ goes on a height of creepiness.
It shows that if a random guy waves a bra on a random girl’s face, and lean creepily over her, she will fall in love with him. #RIP LOGIC.

And we all Love the happy Ending of DDLJ,
BUT
What if I say that DDLJ was not actually a happy ending at all..?
DADI whose last wish was to see Simran’s Wedding, Died without witnessing the wedding just because Simran ran away with Raj.

Preity (Mandira Bedi) who somehow fell in love with Raj got heartbroken and Shattered after getting ditched.

Bua who literally gave a flower and fell in love with Raj’s Father (Anupam Kher) also got heartbroken, as Mr. Kher left India without even saying her good-bye.

Kuljeet who was actually a good guy, who used to chill with his friends, drink beer and party with them also gets ditched by his Fiancée, gets beated by his Fiancée’s Boyfriend and gets humiliated in front of his family and friends.

Infact, we bet even Raj and Simran were not going to stay Happily ever after because soon the love would have been gone out of window, and all they would end up with was marriage, which indeed is the SADDEST thing ever.
After going through so many, Saddening things in the movie, do you still think that DDLJ is the most Romantic thing ever?
