Monsoon tips for flawless skin and hair!
The monsoon has arrived with its divine, serene atmosphere along with its share of skin problems. It has raised a challenge on how to take care of your sensitive skin this weather. It is indeed a very challenging but not an impossible task to keep your skin healthy.
You can ease your distress by following certain tips for your gorgeous skin and hair.
What is better than visiting a spa once in a while to revitalize!
-Experiment with your hair. Get a funky hair color this season. Highlight your hair with full highlighters. Make it look lively.
-Apply bold nail paint to brighten up your gloomy day. May be a shade of red, blue or black will enlighten your mood.
-Apple less makeup. It should be almost nude, as humidity secrets oil on your face and it can lead to skin damaging. Better apply non-greasy and light make-up with matte finish. Avoid shimmery cosmetics. And offcourse waterproof brands are a must!
You can even use homemade remedies to keep your hair and skin healthy!
HAIR
-Hair tend to lose its sheen during monsoon. Make sure you give it a proper coconut oil massage twice a week atleast.
-Avoid using chemical conditioners. Instead opt for herbal ones. The most ideal hair conditioner is Henna. Apply it to the hair once a week, mixing it with four teaspoons of lemon juice and coffee each.
-You can also apply egg white for half an hour before you shampoo your hair. It acts as a wonderful cleanser and and reduces oiliness making your hair silky!
SKIN
-Monsoon can tan your skin. Apply papaya paste to de-tan it. Curd helps in clearing blemishes. Apply aloe vera for soothing the skin and lavender to make it youthful.
-To eliminate skin roughness, make a smooth and thick paste of mixture of almond and milk. You get a smooth, flawless skin by applying this pack!
If pimples breaks out on your skin every now and then, especially during the rains, make the following paste and apply on the pimples.
Take 2 teaspoon of fuller’s earth (Multani mitti), 2 drops clove oil and mix it with 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder and 1 teaspoon of finely ground neem paste.
Apply this paste on pimples only and let it completely dry.
Do not forget to drink at least 10-12 glasses of water at it flushes your toxins from the body and gives natural radiance to the skin.
