Are pedophilia born like that?
In some cases it is considered as just another choice like being gay or getting attracted towards blond hair.
In some cases it is just the desire of over correction of what happened in the past.
To erase the memory of how helpless a person was at that point of time, with a new memory in which the criminal has an upper hand over the victim.So it is not necessary that he has to be born this way,but in majority cases such actions are connected as the convict being a victim himself. series of events in many peoples life can even trigger such behaviors.
Does being a victim of pedophilia justify offending?
“No” Because in many cases the victim see himself in the victim.
Can this cycle end?
“IT is a chosen behavior” It is not like alcoholics.
There are cases in which victims stop themselves from committing crimes by being mentally strong.
So there are other ways of overcoming and breaking the cycle and the only person who can do it is the victim himself.
What goes on in the mind of a pedophile while they are committing the crime?
The demon inside keeps saying “Do it, do it, do it.”
There is certain amount of pleasure rushing in the brain which feeds the greed for more and more pleasure.
In a cases the offender did not like easy victims, the struggle made by the victim was more pleasures.
So it is difficult to determine what goes in the brain of a pedophile when he is committing crime, but most of the time it is for pleasure and without a reason.
But why children?
Easy to manipulative.
Can be threaten easily.
Are helpless.
Most of the time don’t understand what is happening.
Easily accessible.
easy to get away after done.
What can be done ?
There are therapies to overcome these behaviors.
It can only work if the person wants to be treated.
Treatment involves finding the trigger of the behavior and shutting them down.
Or making them realize the consequences of there behavior.
Few are not treatable, the only solution in such cases is that they have to be put in prison because they can be proven as a danger to society.
What should we do in such cases??
