BANGALORE: On Sunday, a paedophile skating instructor was arrested for raping a six-year-old girl in an east Bangalore school. In the past three years he had allegedly tried to abuse at least four other children. Also there is a doubt if the photos of the victims were used for pronography by him. He used to click photographs of children and would also show them obscene videos of other children.

The police are looking into at least four other instances of Mustafa trying to abuse children, hinting that he could have been on the rampage in the school where he was working since 2011. He was dismissed from his previous school after questions over his character were raised. The current school where he worked did not do proper verification before hiring Mustafa, who basically hails from Darbhanga in Bihar.

The parents were left wondering whether the grisly crime could have been prevented if the school had followed basic background check procedures.

Inspite of earning just Rs. 18000 Mustafa owned an expensive mobile phone and couple of laptops. The police are looking into the case as they suspect him of being associated with child pornography as lot of money can be made with the dark side of internet.

This shameful event has led to an uproar in the nation. People are protesting against this on the streets of Bangalore. Over 3000 people marched from the school to the police station. Entire Bangalore supported the protest. Not a single vehicle honked inspite of heavy traffic jams. Parents are worried about their little kids. Their safety is at stake!

Inspite of having a big Indian constitution we fail to give protection to our kids. Girls are criticised for wearing sleazy outfits and arousing men. Was that 6 years old kiddo doing the same? She might not even be aware of what has happened to her. This is an act of utter disgrace and no words can sum up for these miserable crime.
