Everywhere in Mumbai, mumbaikars will cherish the sight of their favourite god arriving this Ganesh Chaturthi ,but Lalbaugcha Raja is known to be the oldest of all.
From 1934 tremendous crowd ranging from celebrities to politicians from all over India show up to get a glimpse of this Ganesh Idol as it is also believed to be”Navsacha Ganpati” which means “all wishes will be fulfilled”.
This idol is made by ace sculptor Mr.Santosh Kambli, the 3rd generation of a family which has a legacy of sculpting the ganesh idol for this mandal since 1935
