Indians Are Just A Bunch Of Hype Followers
In India we have a habit to over exaggerate things. We can never ever react normally. We can even not be totally happy with something or someone. Our entire life revolves around publicity, advertising, promotion, marketing, puffery, propaganda. Nobody wants to be the best; everyone just dies in the race to be better than others. While doing all this we get so engaged in being someone who is liked by all that we forget the real “us”.
Here are few points that will justify the point.

We always believe in Ads

Indians easily get blown away with ads. If a product’s ad over exaggerate things, we never give a damn about the truth. In fact, sometimes we Indians, simply buy a product because it is being promoted by our favorite superstar. We do not bother to know whether the product/service is worth or not.

Media is Always Right

We are a kind of people who think whatever is on TV or Newspaper is definitely true. It is not at all so, have you ever heard about Paid News?? Yeah that is something which is the real Truth these days.

We crave for change but we don’t leave scope for change
Have you ever thought why Whatsapp is more preferred over Hike? Hike has everything that Whatsapp has Infact, Hike has better deals and features too… but no we will stick to Whatsapp because everybody does it and we need to do the same.

We don’t vote a candidate, we vote that person whom our parents/friends choose to vote

Let’s be honest, how many of us do a background check of each candidate who has participated in elections. We hardly bother to do that. Most of us tend to vote the popular party, someone who belongs to our caste and most importantly the one whom our friends and parents choose to vote.

We never do what we want to, we do what other wants us to do

This happens with everyone. We do it in every sphere of our life whether its education, marriage and even divorce. Though I want to eat non-veg, but we won’t because I am born Jain/Bhrahman log kya kahenge? Damn it, eat whatever you want to, do what you feel is right afterall it’s your life. You are the soul master of yourself and you are the best judge for yourself.

Hypocrisy is in our blood
We Indians are born Hypocrites, we can judge almost everything and everyone, and the judgment parameters can be set as per individual tastes and preferences. “So what I came late last night, I am working lady.” “Did u see Sharmaji’s Daughter last night, she came at 2, and she must be doing something wrong.” For Starters, We don’t need Darkness of the night to do something wrong. And trust us, these statements are just basics.

We hardly think of setting trends, we always follow them
The foundation of this statement starts right from our childhood where we as a student are supposed to get better marks that that of our lovely neighbors. We are supposed to bring a gold medal in athletics, so what we wanted to do paintings?
The entire life what we keep doing is follow someone to reach a known place, What if I wanted to make my own path and reach somewhere new.

Overrated Cultural values

Admit it or not, we are getting torn behind the name of Culture. We have a culture in which we are not supposed to argue with to our elders or even talk to them in a loud voice. So, we keep mum and do what they suggest even when we know they are wrong. Of course this is right after all, we have a culture to be preserved. Do Google Khajuraho And Check for images.. 😛

India is a country of funny people with Very less seance of humor. And Such type of attitude that goes with the flow is easy to manipulate for people who control the flow… Think about it…
