A video can change your life, how are you going to use it to change someone else’s?
The video begins with young 23 year old performance artist Jacqueline Traide being led by a rope tied onto her neck.
The person leading Jacqueline looks like a well educated doctor/ scientist. What an irony. This video takes us on a tour of what we should have, long ago. Jacqueline here is in the form(unofficially) of millions of rabbits, rats and pigs and other animals that are put to testing every day,since years now. It follows her being shown completely powerless, having a strap around her month put right in the beginning. As the video proceeds, we what every animal is subjected to: Immense pain and imminent death from testing cosmetics from being tested with chemicals, preservatives on different parts of their bodies which is extremely painful, considering they have to take to all measures in preventing the death of future prospective users of the very same cosmetics used: us humans. It takes a lot guts to be able to stand up for this cruelty that has been prevailing in every part of the world and Jacqueline dosing it, in front of against and shocked by standers proves to us of the courage and genuine concern she has for the fate of our animals and the brutality that we show by dumping their used bodies somewhere alongside the road.
It doesn’t feel so great wearing the top-notch eyeliner that I now am, I have got blood on my hands. What about you?
