You(Teen’s view) being a parent what advice would you give your teenage child

Nov 5, 2014

Giving birth to a child is probably one of the most happiest moments in a woman’s life.
It is that moment that is the one of many joyous highlights of her life.
As and when that happens to me, and when my child grows up to be a lovely teenager, I think one advice I would definitely give her would be the advice that has been passed on to me by my parents, to go out there and live her life.

To assure her that as parents, there is nothing more that we would love than to see her happy and satisfied in life. That she must never fail to acknowledge the fact that she is blessed to have this beautiful life and set out on a journey to meet similar, extraordinary people who will change her life in many, different ways. For this to be possible, whatever help, support, guidance will be needed by her will be given by me and whom ever she requires it from, but one can only learn so much. There’s going to come a time when she will have to put all the knowledge gained to use, create things from scratch and ultimately find her own path. Belief is going to play an important factor and instilling that is utmost necessary. What i can do is advice her and only hope she follows to always take be sure to be grateful for the advice received from everybody concerned who’s more than willing to give it to her but go with what her heart tells her in the end. That no matter how much something doesn’t feel too perfect, or something isn’t working out, you’ve only lost half the battle but if you lose hope, you’ve lost it all. Fighting for what you love is what really matters. That taking leaps of hope and faith is based on experience but also on wisdom. That you can be informed and well versed about anything and everything you need to know and more, but there’ll always be something you’ll miss out. Something that a wise person won’t.
So with every possible intention of achieving whatever it is that she wants to, with restrictions that exist for her own good, she should go ahead and discover herself, aim for everything that she has ever wanted to be a part of because its possible no matter how tough it seems like and the heights she can reach out to,because she’s going to be there, one day. And that day it’ll be worth it all. This advice, that is.
