This is a story of 3 friends, one who does not believe in love, another who is a hardcore romantic and the third who is more mature and sorted than the others. But what really made it such a huge hit amongst the teens is the relationships these three choose to be in, their inner struggle and how they try to maintain their friendship through everything.
2. Munnabhai MBBS.
This movie is based on a satirical take on Gandhiji and his principles and how they can be used in our everyday life in different ways. This movie portrays values given by him drastically differently and encourages us to follow them which is what teens really related to.
3. 3 Idiots.
This top grosser, loosely based on a novel is one of the most loved Bollywood movies of all time. It is about 3 boys and the difficulties they have to suffer while studying in an IIT and how one of them changes all their lives forever. Teens can relate to this movie as it emphasized on the need to change the way the education system works in our country, the pressures of examinations, non existence of practical knowledge and one student’s revolt against it, while also finding love.
4. Shaitaan.
Shaitaan is the story of a group of wild,free teenagers killing someone on the street on one night and the various lies they tell to cover it up which pile on to one another and the ordeals each one faces from their past or present and how they finally end up.

Though Two states is a love story, it is relatable for every teenager who is in love with someone who is not from the same religion as he is. In India where religion plays a huge role in marriages being fixed, for a student to fall in love with someone from an absolutely different religion and how they go the distance and stick together is not a new concept.
6. Student of the year.
Though every teenager may not necessarily relate to this movie on a materialistic, visual basis but the very idea of students competing for a title and the various hardships or selections they have to go through ro get there is something every teenager has been through. Different families have different problems and how the teenagers ultimately deal with this is what makes this movie relatable.
7. Wake Up Sid.
The movie revolves around Sid, a teenager, who has no particular aim or purpose in life until he meets a girl and discovers his true passion and ultimately excels at. The budding romance between the two main protagonists throughout his journey of dealing with his parents, old friends and passion makes watching the movie worthwhile.
8. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
The movie follows the narration of a story wherein College students two best friends ultimately fall for each other but what also follows is their in acceptance, hesitation of love as also satire. There is also the history of the male protagonist and Hus quest with this father and brothers and relationship with them.
9. Lakshya.
Lakshya is the journey of a teenage boy who isn’t quite sure what to really do in life when he stumbles upon a profession that he randomly chooses to pursue, much to the dismay of everyone else who don’t have any faith in him being able to do anything. How he proves then all wrong and excels, with love by his side is an extremely heartwarming story.

In JJWS, a poor yet happy, cheerful boy overcomes various obstacles to emerge victorious when no one believed he would. Here, he doesn’t take life too seriously but when an unforseen situation occurs and despite the odds being against him he gives in his best to prove himself. Teenagers have largely connected to this movie because of its elements of romance, hard work amongst many.
