Women have always been the strong ones of the world. The men are always seeking from women a little pillow to put their heads down on. They are always longing for the mother who held them as infants.Be it as a mother, a wife or a daughter, woman comes across as highly emotional yet very strong headed person.Women in the 21st century have excelled in every field. They are no more confined to the four walls of house. They are making a mark in every sector. There are many women in India who have been inspiring people over generations. These includes freedom fighter Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, astronaut Kalpana Chawla or beauty queen Aishwarya Rai.

Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi is the current Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, which is the second largest food and beverage business in the world by net revenue.She has been ranked among the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women consistently.In 2014, she was ranked 13 in the list of Forbes World’s 100 most powerful women.
2. Ekta Kapoor- Balaji Telefilms

Ekta Kapoor is an Indian TV and film producer. She is the Joint Managing Director and Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms, her production company. She was awarded with Ernst & Young Startup Entrepreneur Of The Year award in 2001.
Ekta Kapoor can be aptly called as the reigning queen of Indian television industry.
3. Chanda Kochhar- MD ICICI

Chanda Kochhar is the managing director of ICICI Bank and its chief executive officer. She also heads the Corporate Centre of ICICI Bank. Besides being on the board of ICICI Bank, she is a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Trade & Industry, US-India CEO Forum and is a member of the Board of Governors of Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations.
4. Shahnaz Husain- CEO of Shahnaz Herbals Inc

Shahnaz Husain is a prominent Indian female entrepreneur best known for her herbal cosmetics, particularly skin care products. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 2006.
